Evgenia has always loved basketball, but you and your coaching team made her truly fall in love with the game. She left with tears in her eyes — she held back while with you, but cried in the car and at home, asking to go back. And that’s despite the fact that she wasn’t just relaxing — she was really working hard.
Yes, she still lacks a bit of competitive drive and confidence (though she usually has plenty of both in everyday life). She chose basketball herself — which was unexpected for me — but now I see it’s a decision that truly comes from her heart.
